Musician Jose Chameleone has shared a deeply personal Christmas message with his fans, revealing that he will be spending the festive season away from his usual stage performances due to health challenges.

In a statement released on Monday as he departed for advanced treatment in the United States, Chameleone expressed gratitude and reflected on his journey:
“This festive season marks a first for me – spending it away from the stage and away from all of you, my beloved fans. Unfortunately, my hospitalization has disrupted our annual tradition of celebrating together through music.”
The singer, renowned for his energetic performances and timeless hits, extended his appreciation to fans and promoters who have supported him throughout his career. However, he noted the need for a temporary break to focus on his recovery.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the promoters who have consistently believed in me and to the fans who have always shown up to support me. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking a temporary break from performing until I’ve made a full recovery,” he added.
Chameleone also thanked Nakasero Hospital for the care he received and acknowledged the support of his close friend, Juliet Zawedde, who has stood by him during this challenging period.
“A special thank you to my dear friend Juliet Zawedde, who selflessly sacrificed her holiday to accompany me to the United States for further treatment,” he shared.
He concluded his message with an assurance to his fans: “To everyone who has stood by me, I thank you. I will return stronger and better, God willing. For God and my country.”
