Last night, the Sheraton Garden was alive with laughter, music, and celebration as, Madrat and Chiko real names Dickson Lubega and Frank Mubiru respectively, marked their10th anniversary in the highly anticipated Nseko Buseko Season 5 edition in a show dubbed, “10 years of Madrat & Chiko” The event brought together a vibrant audience of fans, well-wishers, fellow comedians, and an audience from all walks of life.
Hosted by Uncle Mo and Uncle Mark, the evening featured unforgettable performances from some of Uganda’s most beloved artists including Mesearch Semakula who captivated the crowd with his soulful music. Lydia Jazmine delivered an electrifying performance that had everyone on their feet while Dr. Bbosa brought his signature voice and energy. Comedians Omala Daniel, Talkers, and Tumbeetu kept guests laughing while Victoria University Dancers, Shebby Music, DJ Tony, and DJ Nimrod, created a vibrant atmosphere. The presence of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament and notable figures like Hon. Nyamutoro and Hon. Nsereko among others highlighted the significance of the event.
As always, Madrat and Chiko added their trademark satire to the event, providing a humorous commentary on current events and societal issues. Their comedic genius not only entertained but also sparked conversations among attendees, making the night both enjoyable, thought-provoking, and a true revelation of the huge impact they have had on comedy and the entertainment industry at large.
