Singer Eddy Kenzo stirred up speculation once again regarding his relationship with Female Youth MP Phiona Nyamutoro, following her recent appointment to the cabinet.

Kenzo was quick to extend his congratulations to the youthful politician after news emerged of her becoming the Minister of State for Minerals during the Thursday evening cabinet reshuffle.
In a post that garnered thousands of likes and views, commentators revisited the rumors that had surfaced last year suggesting a romantic involvement between the two.
These rumors initially circulated online, alleging that they were dating clandestinely and that Nyamutoro had even gifted Kenzo a new car.
Nyamutoro responded to the post with a nonchalant demeanor, neither confirming nor denying the claims. However, she later clarified her stance, asserting that she was not romantically involved with Kenzo. She did acknowledge knowing him for many years, dating back to before her tenure in parliament.

On an official level, Nyamutoro has collaborated with Kenzo on initiatives aimed at advocating for law reforms regarding copyright in Uganda. She notably presented a petition authored by the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), an organization presided over by Kenzo, on the floor of Parliament.
Hon. Nyamutoro holds the position of National Female Youth Member of Parliament, further solidifying her role in advocating for the interests of the youth within the political sphere.
