Cameroon international Samuel Eto’o has denied reports suggesting that he will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old joined the Blues on a one-year contract at the start of the season but says he has not made the decision to complete another switch at the end of his current deal.
“False and degrading information have been published about me, saying ‘Samuel Eto’o doesn’t want to stay at Chelsea’, he said in a statement released on his official Instagram account.
“I just want remind to all that I have a tremendous love for @chelseafc, I have a lot of respect for my leaders and my teammates.
“I love Chelsea fans, and I will keep on giving everything I have in order to defend the Blues.”
Eto’o will look to regain his scoring form when Chelsea visit Galatasaray in the first leg of their Champions League Last 16 encounter on Wednesday night.
