The grand unveiling ceremony, hosted by Ugandan media personality JK Kazoora, took place on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at La Terraza in Kampala, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s presence in Uganda.
What sets 7UP apart is its caffeine-free formula, making it a versatile choice for any occasion. Whether sipped solo, mixed with other beverages, or paired with a meal, 7UP promises to add a dash of zest and fun to every moment.
To commemorate its launch in Uganda, 7UP introduces a fresh brand identity under the slogan ‘say hello to 7UP’. The new visual identity features the brand’s signature green color infused with citrus tones and dynamic lines, exuding a sense of upward energy. This revamped design will adorn 7UP bottles and various marketing materials, enhancing brand visibility.
Accompanying the launch is a multi-touchpoint sampling campaign across bars, restaurants, and streets, commencing on February 9, 2024. The campaign aims to demonstrate how 7UP can infuse moments with upliftment, positivity, and surprise, enriching consumers’ lives in unexpected ways.
Rogers Anguzu, commercial manager CBL, commented: “We are thrilled to to bring 7UP to Uganda, a country with a vibrant and dynamic culture. 7UP is a brand that has always provided people with refreshing Upliftment through consumption and that’s why it feels like a natural fit for us to drive this narrative forward and center Upliftment withing everything we do.
