Following copy right infringement, we have been tipped off that singer Geosteady has been dragged to Kibuye police station. The Viola singer has not been on good terms with the late Elly Wamala’s family since he re-did his(Elly Wamala) Viola hit song.
After accusing him of plagiarism, Goesteady has been on several occasions summoned to various police posts, the latest being Kibuye. When we contacted him, he told us he was willing to compensate the family though they declined the offer.
Fiona Mukasa, daughter to the late Elly Wamala will later today be on radio Simba to address the public about this issue. We will keep you updated on any developments.
