In anticipation of the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit Ug 2024 and G77 China Summit Ug 2024, Entebbe International Airport is showcasing a revamped and modernized appearance.
As Uganda gears up to welcome global leaders for the NAM Summit and G77+China Summit in 2024, Entebbe International Airport has undergone substantial enhancements, particularly in the arrivals and pick-up area. This noteworthy transformation is the result of dedicated efforts led by the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) Engineering Brigade.
The improvements at the airport are part of an ongoing initiative to elevate the overall facilities and services provided at Entebbe International Airport. The upgraded arrivals and pick-up area is poised to offer a more efficient and welcoming experience to passengers and visitors alike.
The NAM Summit and G77+China Summit are pivotal events where heads of state from various countries will convene to deliberate on matters of global significance and mutual interest. The modernized infrastructure at Entebbe International Airport aligns with Uganda’s commitment to providing world-class facilities to accommodate the prestigious gatherings.
The UPDF Engineering Brigade’s commendable efforts have played a crucial role in ensuring that Entebbe International Airport meets the high standards expected for hosting such significant international summits. The refurbished areas not only enhance the airport’s aesthetic appeal but also contribute to the seamless functioning of crucial arrival and departure processes.
