Thousands of revelers have flocked the Uganda Waragi Nyege Nyege music festival as it returns after a 2-year hiatus with a new home at Itanda Falls in Jinja. The festival has attracted people from all walks of life and nations.
Clear clouds was exactly what revelers hoped for as they descended on the venue, and the weather gods answered their prayers. With nothing more to worry about, cheap beer aplenty and great music, the party started in earnest.
The festival situated on an 16 acres of forest cover has plenty of options for revelers to choose from including multiple music stages, art installations, and gaming areas, something for every one to satiate their appetite for fun.
One of the stages with “great vibes” was the Bell Lager stage right on the banks of the Nile where revelers were treated to “mpola enjoyments” with a rich line up of top DJs to keep them on their feet.
The big performances of the day were on the main stage which featured our very own Cindy Sanyu and Navio.
The festival kicked off on Thursday afternoon and will go until Sunday.
Here are more photos from day two of the festival.
