Con men in recent years have been on the rise across the globe. This is more evident in the cyber world from social media platforms, to Emails, and other communication channels. Some con men are even creating pseudo celebrity profiles to lure unsuspecting folks into their scams.
This is where talented songbird Juliana Kanyomozi has come out to warn all Ugandans and her entire fan base to beware of such illicit habits.
She posted on her Facebook timeline on Tuesday evening: “To all my Juliana family out there, whoever is asking you for money or any other kind of help on Facebook Using my name is a fraudster and impersonator, don’t be fooled. DO NOT send your money/help for any kind of cause to anyone on Facebook using my name. So be warned. Stay blessed.”
