After scooping several awards on the international scene, including the BETTFA 2013 Awards and the prestigious entertainment medal at the African Social Awards Malaysia (ASAM) 2013 in Malaysia, queen of comic talent Anne Kansiime is at it again. She is now gearing up for her comedy gig in Norway slated for early March in a theme “Women are hardworking souls that will smile and be funny even in tough situations”.
This was announced by his manager earlier on in the week, Johnson Mujungu. Addressing the press, he said, “We are delighted to announce that the Talented Multi Award Winning Comedian Kansiime Anne/Entertainer will host the International Women’s Day in Oslo (Norway) on March 8th, 2014.”
Meanwhile, the reigning African Queen of Comedy in January received and accepted an invitation to the Commonwealth Day reception in London on March 10, 2014 in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburg. And this will only be two days after the Norway Gig.
