This Saturday, April 23, 2022, Uganda’s First Son, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s will be holding a birthday party marking his 48th year of life.
According to the organizing team chairman, at the same time Uncle to Gen. Muhoozi, Michael Nuwagira famously known as Toyota, the highly anticipated birthday party is going down at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala.
Toyota says that the party will be open to attend by the general public with or without an invitation card.
“Invitation cards are some of the tools we are using to call people to attend. We are also using announcements on radios, televisions, and word of mouth. This party is not for only those with cards. Everyone is invited,” said Toyota during a presser on Thursday at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
He also emphasizes the fact that this will not be a political event like some may have anticipated, rather a social function, to honour Gen. Muhoozi’s new age.
“This is not a political function, its purely a social function. We have entertainment and its basically celebrating a birthday. Its not about politics, religion and colours. Its purely entertainment and celebrations for the birthday of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. So, I welcome you all and invite everybody. Those who can, lets join and celebrate the birthday of Gen. Muhoozi,” he added.
Toyota further asserts that it will be such a glamorous function endowed with cake, fireworks, entertainment, drinks, eats, among others.
“We shall have a cake, fireworks, entertainment, drinks, eats. Entrance is free, and everything is catered for by Team Chairman. I want to thank my team for organizing this, and we are set for the celebrations.”
Star-stubbed artistes in Uganda and around East Africa have been lined-up to thrill the attenders.
Gen. Muhoozi himself last week said that this is one of a kind event for Uganda as the country celebrates having ended the two-years lethal season of Covid-19 pandemic.
The Uganda Peoples’ Defense Forces (UPDF) Commander of Land Forces also revealed that various top hierarchy delegates from around the world have also been invited.
By Thursday evening, the event venue preparations spear headed by promoter Balaam Barugahara were in high gear with tents, seats, security, and many others already put in place.
