Thanks to Redd Vodka’s sponsorship and the dream team in Namutebi Ssylvia and Joram Muzira and the entire Miss Uganda team, this years edition is bound to be a reference landmark in the history of the beauty pageant.
For the first time, 22 contestants instead of the usual 20 will compete to succeed the reigning Queen,Phiona Bizzu.Numbers don’t lie,describing the turn up as ”overwhelming”, the model scout, Joram Muzira says they were moved by the country wide appreciation and participation in the contest.
He continues to state that the additional number only stepped up the competition for the prestigious life changing crown.
”We are focusing more on the height, beauty and brains”,he revealed. The final 22 contestants are currently in boot camp at Ndere culture centre where they will be tested and groomed to meet the aspects of a beauty queen.
The ultimate winner will drive home a Mercedes benz A Class and huge salary packages for a year await the big winners.
The grande finale will be held on 13th July at Serena Hotel
