Nxt Radio, Uganda’s pioneer and only 24-hour audio-visual radio station, is making three years in business later this month, and they intend to celebrate this milestone with a big innovation.

Our snoops have  been told that “with the new innovation African radio will be even more different forever!”

The Next Media Services-owned radio platform took to the airwaves on October 17th, 2018.

In the short time of their existence, they have already clinched numerous victories such as being named among the Top Five English-speaking stations in the country, knocking many seasoned players off their perch.

They have also managed to attract an interesting blend of amazing new and veteran on-air talent, put together successful and relatable campaigns such as “Nxt Zikiza” to celebrate Ugandan music, “Nxt Dash” to reward listeners with shopping dashes, “Nxt DJ Moment” that gave DJs a stage to perform during the COVID-19-induced lockdown, and the “Nxt Radio Rave” that took over the city for a week spreading the positive vibes they stand for, to mention but a few.

Nxt Radio has sponsored several concerts over the 3 years of existence.

The future looks bright for Nxt Radio, with another first expected from the first audio-visual radio station this October. The station celebrates three years of big hits and great vibes.

This time, the station promises to #TakeItNxtLvL.
