Sensational Ugandan songstress, Sheebah Karungi has been confirmed among the performers on the historical night when the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) will be brought down in Kampala.

The announcement came through on Wednesday via the MAMAs social medias as it revealed that the ‘Nakyuka’ singer will indeed be part of the showcasing fleet virtually come February 2021.
“We’re SOOOO excited to have Sheebah Karungi join our #MTVMAMA line-up! Don’t miss it the virtual LIVE show coming to you from the virtual stage in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. on February 20!” stated MTV Base Africa.
Apparently, Sheebah will be performing alongside other star stubbed names on the African continent such as; Wizkid (Nigeria), Khaligraph Jones (Kenya), Suspect 95 (Cote D’Ivoire).
The second batch of performers was also unveiled and it features; Nasty C (South Africa), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Calema (Sao Tome), Soraia Ramos (Cape Verde).
MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) will be a virtual event in partnership with Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, on 20th February 2021, which will present the ultimate in African culture, music, and creativeness.

The event will air on MTV Base (DSTV Channel 322) and MTV (DSTV Channel 130). The one-hour MAMA-themed MTV World Stage feature will be rebroadcast on BET Africa and BET International plus MTV channels across many continents.
