Drenched in innocence, Fille’s exuberant voice is as stimulating as the blood-red sunset. She evokes memories of that impossible to ignore village belle sashaying her hips while humming on her way to the well. Unlike the sweet sunset, Fille has not gone to sleep. The 2013 break out artiste rises like the morning glory.
In “Hello”, she toys with the idea of keeping the love flame alive in a long distance relationship. With unvarying tempo, she collaborates with Rwanda’s Bruce. She keeps up to the challenge in the fast paced song leading the way before passing the mantle to Bruce who inturn hands it back in a cheerful series of phone conversations, exchanging intimate messages, words we all want to hear from a loved one.
Producer Andy decorates the song in traditional culture blending African drum beats setting up a contemporary dance experience.
Boasting of an exchange of cultures, the song is richly spiced in organic sounds that deserves more than an East African audience.
Massive duet, Fille. Good song!
