Whether they are being worn on the runway, at some of the world’s biggest fashion shows, or on the streets, stripes are very trendy, and add an element of chic vibe to your look. This print has the power to transform a plain and boring look, into stunning.
You can choose to wear stripes on the bigger item in your look, like your top, of have it on the smaller item like the bow tie. Whatever you choose, do not limit yourself. Have fun with your outfit, and so this means you don’t have to restrict your stripes to the traditional black and white, but you can experiment with any colour that you choose. You could for instance choose to spice up an all-white look, by wearing an orange striped top.
This graphic design print is a great way to spice up your look, especially when worn with solid coloured items. For instance, you can pair your stripped top with a hot pink pair of shorts.
However, like all other print, it’s important to choose the width of the stripes you want to wear carefully. It would be better to stick to the thinner stripes as these don’t enhance your curves as much, especially if you have decided to wear them on your bottom. For instance if you decide to wear stripped pants, then keep the stripes thinner.
Also ensure that you don’t turn yourself into a clown, by having on a stripped item on a floral pair of shoes, and a polka dotted bag. This simply means keep the other items plain, and neutral, to let the stripes stand out, and make the statement.
If you opt for a black and white vertical stripped dress, then have on a plain clutch, like maybe black or green. The less print on the other items, the better.
