Have you ever been to a jungle? No, leave alone the Apocalypto jungle and all those jungles you watch on Nat Geo. A jungle is a jungle itself; thicket and shrubs and a ton of wild animals chasing for morsels and chimpanzees with their ugly feet and hyenas canvassing around with their eye-sore legs.
Now, Smirnoff decided to throw a party in the jungle at Garden City rooftop. Sigh! The party was themed “Rumble In The Jungle” where revelers had to embrace the jungle-like life by donning signature Smirnoff eagle masks and do nothing but have fun in the jungle-like environment.

At the entrance, everyone was gently handed a crisp cocktail quaff to escort them throughout the jungle. The jungle had music which blared in the air and was served by Deejay Beekay and Dj Crisio. The revelers, now a little tipsy, kept on their feet dancing and sipping slowly on their drinks as they tried to see off the year in the jungle, in style.

There was a game, as with life in the wilderness, where one needed to hunt for a white Lion hidden in one of those numerous shrubs; a hidden treasure. And one who came out of the hunting unscarred and victorious matched away with a whopping 1,000,000shs. The emcee, Brian Mckenzie, interacted and blended well with the audience spewing out jokes. A horde of people embraced the new word “selfie” taking countless photos that will eventually remind them how the darned wilderness was.

At 1am, the music drifted to a sudden stop and people, still yawning and dropping a sweat as they danced the night away, were surprised and left in a box of dilemma. It literally brought the event to an end.
