The Road to the Pearl Sports On The Nile has, for the past one week, been the talk of town. With a number of corporate groups confirming their participation in the forthcoming Football, Touch Rugby and Netball gala.
The fun filled team building event is slated for the whole weekend of 15th -17th November 2019.
The organizers, Adris Digital Africa announced the start of registration processes earlier today during a press conference held at their offices.
“This is the perfect team building activity for every type of company. We will set off on Friday, tour Mabira Forest after the Namawojjolo chicken treat. The participants will then go and rest in our hotel rooms in Jinja.
On the D-day, the action will then start at Dam Waters previously known as Laftaz. We will start as early as 8:00am. During the sports session, we will have some.
The sports will end at 5:00pm, and the party will start till late in the night. We will have massive stage and a DJ set up erected from there for musical and live performances from renowned entertainers from both Kampala and Jinja.
The next day, Sunday, the participants will then tour Jinja and engage in activities like rafting, Quad Biking, touring the source of the Nile, Cultural activities among others,” explained Peter Sebulime, the head of communications Adris Digital Africa.
He explained that the key components of the gala are team building, fostering health and networking. The gala will have about 60 participants from across Uganda.
“There are two ways to register. Companies can declare through our company email AdrisDigitalAfrica@gmail.com and they will be availed with the Sports Gala Account Number.
Alternatively, companies can contact our coordinator Walter Solomon on 0706513514 and they will be presented with the necessary documentation they need to register,” explained Sebulime.
Sebulime added that to participate in the gala, companies or individuals will pay 1.5M, and it will come with free transport to Jinja, a free tour of Mabira Forest, free refreshments and free access to medical attention, free entertainment at night.

he winners of the gala will get a free trip to any of the National Parks of their choice with first class accommodation, meals and wild game tours,” Sebulime added, much to the excitement of many members of the press.
