Beverage giant, Coca-Cola this morning handed over three all-expense paid air tickets to Nsubuga Geoffrey, Ssesanga Eria and Ayo Jimmy – winners in the ongoing Coke Studio Under The Crown Promotion.

The winners will be travelling to Santorini in Greece on 1st to 6th June this year. Santorini is one of the most beautiful islands in the World and one of the most popular destinations in Greece.

It is immortalized by poets and painters, thanks to its celebrated light, multi-coloured cliffs and picture-perfect sunsets.

Amidst excitement, the lucky winners thanked Coca-Cola for this unimaginable prize and narrated their journey. Lira-based Ayo will travel with his brother Tommy while Ssesanga will also go along with his brother. Nsubuga Geoffrey, a student at Legacy S.S on the other hand will be travelling with his mother.

“My mother is the most important person to me and she has done every possible thing to see me get to where I am today. I felt it important and necessary to give her a chance to go with me and have this experience,” said Geoffrey Nsubuga.

Handing over the grand prize, Coca-Cola Beverages Commercialization Director Flavia Mbabazi Nabaasa noted that there are still many crowns with rewards and the company will continue to handover rewards to lucky winners.

“These lucky winners will also get to meet other winners from other African countries as they enjoy themselves at a concert in Santorini Greece,” she further noted.

“When we started this campaign, we promised that 300,000 to 400,000 Ugandans would stand a chance to win, with 3 lucky ones travelling to Greece. We have fulfilled this promise,” added Ivan Oboth, the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Sales Director.
