Denmark based Ugandan musician, Mary Nantayiro is beaming with excitement after she won an award for best African female artiste of the year 2018 at the recently concluded Scandinavia awards.
The artist who moved to Denmark at the age of 13, mostly performs in Denmark and is known for her hit single, “Live your life”.
“This year I’ve achieved so many great things, and winning this award for “Best female African artist 2018” in Scandinavia, was one of my greatest achievements so far!”
She also thanked all her fans and crew for believing in her and encouraging her to keep pursuing her dreams. She however, did not attend the ceremony in Sweden since she had a concert back home in Uganda the same night the awards happened.
