The Ugandan Social Media Fraternity has chosen the #UgandaSolarEclipse as the official twitter hashtag for the moments during, before and after the Solar Eclipse that’s bound to happen on Sunday.
Celebrities like Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Alicia Keys have already endorsed the tag, while entrepreneurs like Sir Richard Branson are already trending with it. It is believed that some individuals have already printed out Tee-shirts to be worn on the day bearing the hashtag.
The tag will be used in order to have a synchronized conversation over Facebook and Twitter concerning the solar eclipse and what Ugandans had to say about it, the jokes, the funny one-liners, the reactions, mention it all.
The Hashtag was first used by www.bigeye.ug before it began going viral.
For now, Number 14 welding glasses are already selling out, since they are the recommended glasses for viewing this solar eclipse. Uganda has turned out to be the most popular spot for those interested in having the clearest view of the solar eclipse since time began. Remember once again, it’s #UgandaSolarEclipse
