It’s a lot to do with ego; but every man wants to know what the woman he just had sex with is thinking post the romp session. Men tend to be curious in this regard. And it’s nice. Why women usually don’t actually tell you what they’re thinking right after you’ve had sex has a lot to do with ego, too. We like having a few aces up our own sleeves—just like you leave us guessing whether or not you’re going to call us back; we like to leave you wondering whether or not the sex with you was good, or have we had better.
But, just so you don’t go crazy wondering, here’s what women are actually thinking right after they’ve had sex with you.
1. “I Need A Drink”
It has nothing to do with the actual nature of the sex with you (or maybe sometimes, it does). It’s just that sometimes, sex makes you feel like now, you need a drink already; for good, or for bad.
2. “I’m Famished!”
Sex is energy. Energy means you’re exhausted and spent and might be hungry because of all those calories you’ve burned. Chances are you’re hungry, too. It doesn’t mean she would prefer a burger over you… not always.
3. “Damn, I’m Good.”
You’re likely to be dating a woman with the ego of a man which is great actually. She’s the female alpha to your male ego! And yes, she’s proud of her ‘skills’; but only because they’re ‘skills’ for a reason. I mean wouldn’t you give an arm and a leg to have her do that mind blowing thing she just did?
4. “He Was SO Good.”
Yes, sometimes—not always; but, some rare times—she is thinking about how amazing you were in bed. Her facial expression may not say the same thing; in fact, don’t be surprised if she looks like she’s bored or just finished a task. She’s just trying to let you NOT know that she thinks you were THAT good.
5. “That Got Over Quickly.”
Ummm… I’m really sorry for you but, yes, sometimes (Read: a lot of times) that’s exactly what women are thinking. I’ll drop a clue here. If you took a maximum of 10, or even 15 minutes with what you did, this is probably what she’s thinking. No, I’m not kidding. I’m actually dead serious with a very sullen expression on my face.
6. “I’m Glad That’s Over”
… I could not be more sorry for you right now *imitates Chandler Bing tone* I wish I could give you clues to when you should expect this one. But, really all I can say here is she’s looking glad—not to be confused with satisfied—and isn’t too eager to talk about the sex.
7. “I Cannot Believe We Just DID That!”
This is probably under circumstances when, a) The two of you were not supposed to DO That! B) The two of you did something she probably never imagined doing and she feels strangely good about having been THAT bad, or c) Both a) and b).
8. “Was I Good For Him?”
Yes, a lot of times, a lot of women are wondering exactly this, right after they’ve had sex with you. Why? Because women tend to get conscious during and after sex, wondering if they did it right—this is most likely to happen if she isn’t very confident about her skills in bed (happens to more women than you’d believe). Unfortunately, sometimes, women forget that the fact that they’re just a woman who agreed to sleep with a particular guy makes her so good according to him.
9. “Does He Love Me Now?”
Some (hey, I said ‘some’, okay?) women also believe that sleeping with a guy seals the romantic deal in an unbreakable way. That’s not true; but, well, there are reasons for this perception—either you led her to assume that sleeping with each other would take your relationship to another level, or she just thinks being good in bed would make you fall irrevocably in love with her; which—to be honest—has happened in some cases. Just saying.
10. “Are We A Couple Now?”
A lot like the previous point; but a lot less clingy, given that at least she hasn’t jumped to the ‘L’-Word… yet. But, yeah given that you probably said her name while climaxing, or holding her in a way that seemed to her, a lot like how couples do, she is probably thinking that you see her as a potential significant other.
11. “Oh My God, What Have I Done?”
She either cheated on her boyfriend with you; or on her best friend with her boyfriend (You), or went home with a stranger whose face she doesn’t even like now that she’s sober again. If it’s the first, you can’t help it. If it’s the second, you should be ashamed of yourself and have better control over your loose goods. If it’s the third, I’m sorry I can’t help that she didn’t like your face.
12. “Can We Go Again?”
Yep, she’s ready for Round Two already, never mind if you’re not. And chances are she’s going to be saying this out loud, almost as soon as she has thought it. Also, chances are you probably aren’t yet. But how does it matter, you’re going in anyway. Uhhh… Pun TOTALLY INTENDED!
13. “Zzzzzzzzzz… *Unicorn Eating Sandwich*…Zzzzzzz….”
You get the point… oh wait, you’re sleeping too. We get the point. Sex was great. You slept happily ever after. The world is sane again.
