So there you are, being all romantic, holding hands, and making eyes at each other when wham! Cupid’s arrow strikes harder than it should and you just know you have to get it going. But before you decide to get down and dirty, wait and think. It might just be better to get a room.
1. On the beach
The beach sex fantasy is so common, it’s not even a fantasy anymore. But before the sunset and those waves create a different effect on you and you decide to go all the way right out there on the sand, stop! Sex on the beach can be dangerous as the sand often enters the smallest body crevices, leading to friction, causing cuts and sores. If the sand is unclean, you even have chances of an infection.
2. In the kitchen
While not one of the most popular places, kitchen countertops have seen more than their fair share of err, lusty cooking. And though you might think kitchens are fun and unique places to get going at it with your partner, they are not.
3. In the woods/in nature
Making love while on a trek or a picnic in the woods seems to be the most romantic idea ever but in reality, it is extremely risky. There are a lot of insects and rodents in the woods and you might get bitten by something while you’re distracted. Also, the branches and brambles might cut and scratch you leading to injuries.
4. In the pool
Sex in the pool is adventurous, and more than one romance novel has listed the romance of going all the way while in the water. And it does sound thrilling! However, remember that the pool water is chlorinated and sometimes, if not used properly, the chlorine can lead to yeast and fungal infections. It also dries out the vagina which mean no lubrication and painful, painful sex.
5. In public toilets
The stink, the space, the bacteria, the germs… Do we really need to spell it out for you?!
6. In the car, while driving
While stationary cars in India aren’t exactly safe, having sex while driving is a complete no-no. Forget sex. Even making out while driving is a complete dud. Whatever porn movies tell you, the scene will not end well.
7. In changing rooms
While changing rooms are not exactly the healthiest of places in terms of hygiene as they might not have been swept and are teeming with bacteria from sweaty, tried-on clothes, the cramped space is going to make having sex more than difficult. Even if you have the flexibility of Baba Ramdev, your voices are going to be heard quite clearly and might lead to you being banned from the store or the entire mall!
8. In the elevator.
Elevators are the most infamous when it comes to quickies and make-out sessions. However, there’s just no chance that the lift will halt long enough for you to finish. Also, the elevator is generally air-conditioning-free-tight-space-without-constant-and-generous-fresh-air-supply. You don’t want to asphyxiate in the middle of a moan.
9. In the office/building staircase.
You never know when someone might just stumble into you. And that someone could be your boss.
10. In the theater
Cliche but only too common. If you think taking the corner seat will prevent anyone from seeing you, you’re wrong. It’s all visible and only too clearly. Plus the sounds are a lot more interesting sometimes than the actual movie dialogues. For all you know, the CCTV camera man is enjoying his own private show!
