Golden band musician Catherine Kusasira has been released by Entebbe Magistrate court this morning on a non cash bail of Shs 50 million and Shs 500,000 cash.
While appearing before court, Catherine was read charges of stealing a song and failing to pay the songwriter but was released after presenting Benon Kibuuka, the president of Federation of Uganda Performing artistes and Figo, the LC1 chairman of Entebbe as sureties.
It should be noted that Catherine Kusasira was arrested last evening after she presented herself before court but the magistrate sent her to Kigo prison indicating it was already late to read her charges.
