Kajjansi based side Lweza fc have clinched a place in the semi-finals of the 2015 Uganda cup after shocking Police fc with a 1-0 defeat.

Midfielder Peter Kamanje scored the only goal of the game after 11minutes into the second half (56th minute).

Lweza beat CRO 2-0 to reach the quarter finals while Police humiliated Baza Holdings 6-1 to storm the quarter finals but the Kajjansi boys who are still struggling to find their form in the Uganda Premier League shocked the cops.

Lweza have now become the first team to reach the semi-finals of the Uganda Cup as they wait for the other three fixtures to be played.

Remaining Quarter final fixtures:

Monday 13th April, 2015:

Bright Stars vs BUL 3pm in Mwererwe

Sunday 19th April, 2015:

Kyambogo FC vs KCC FC 3pm in Kyambogo
