Songstress Irene Ntale unveiled her debut album dubbed “Sembera” at an invite-only party that was held at Swangz Avenue offices in Muyenga on Tuesday evening.
The “Gyobera” hitmaker was evidently excited as she extended her gratitude to the different stakeholders – from deejays, to producers, to media personalities among others, that made the Sembera album possible and also her career thus far a glorious success.
But what she did not know was that the team at Swangz Avenue also had a big surprise in store for her to show their gratitude for the good work. The elated singer was overwhelmed by emotion and broke into tears when her manager Julius Kyazze presented her with a special gift(a custom album plaque) congratulating her on the milestone.
Meanwhile, Irene Ntale explained that her new album is an invitation to her fans to get closer and enjoy her good sounds.
“Sembera loosely translates to ‘come closer‘,” she explained. “It is an invitation to all my fans to come closer and listen to what I have been working on for the past four years.”
Sembera is a double CD album comprising of 27 tracks; both her old and new songs. It is on sale at Ugx 30K.
