Fellow comedians have endorsed Salvado’s one-man comedy show slated for 2nd June at Serena Hotel. Napoleone Ehmah, one of the pioneer comedians in the local industry, has rallied support for the “Man from Umbokolo” show as he hailed Salavdo’s courage. Napoleone posted:
“OMBOKOLO!!
About three years ago I had a chance to travel to this now famous village, the place that gave Uganda Patrick Idringi Salvado. After an amazing show, in Arua, we took a walk the next day and my Oh my…this village came to a standstill. This lady ran with a kid on the back and another (the one I carried) just to greet us and have a photo with us.
“The Man From Ombokolo” is not just about Salvado…it’s about the pride of this little village, the dreams of Salvado the man, the aspirations of all those who look up to him and a new chapter in the comedy industry of this country.
Even before the show allow me to say CONGRAULATIONS bwana SALVADO upon this already huge step.
I call upon all comedy lovers to gather at Serena on 2nd/June and,not just witness, but be a part of history.
One Uganda, One Comedy Industry.”
