Former Miss Uganda Praise Akankwatsa has been fired and is yet to be deported back to the country over theft of hospital funds.
It is said that former Miss Uganda, Praise Asiimwe Akankwatsa (2005-2007) who has been working as a Public Relations Officer for King Faisal referral hospital in Kigali, Rwanda has been sacked from her job over cases of fraud and theft.
Praise Akankwatsa who held the miss beauty pageant a couple of times and also represented Uganda at Miss World Polland was cited for the second time in a row in cases of mishandling money. She had previously been fired from New Times magazine and Newspapers for deliberate misuse of money.
According to reports, Praise Akankwatsa disappeared in thin air for a fortnight after she landed her hands on the money that had been solicited for orphans at the hospital. This left the hospital management with no choice but to fire her and lodge cases of theft and and fraud against her. She is already in hands of the authority and soon you will see her on the streets of Kampala.
