In our Sunday features, Bigeye.ug reviews the latest gospel song hit by celebrated singer and Pastor Wilson Bugembe of Light world church, Nansana and the talented lugaflow rapper and comic singer Gravity Omutujju dubbed “Ekkubo” loosely translated as “Path”.
The song produced by Frank Jah of Jahlive films & Jahlive audio studio basically talks about how folks should conduct themselves.
Pastor Bugembe starts with a word of advice to young people who think that sleeping around with everybody is a good way to go and he points out that when young fellas are advised they call advisors “Zontos”. Both singers warn against sleeping around, drunk driving, domestic violence, gambling, and drug abuse among other bad behaviors especially those that are common among youth.
The super hit has been accompanied by a fine video which depicts exactly the message in the song. And it has already caught massive airplay on local radio and TV stations and has also received numerous downloads on several music platforms. This is a good song for your spirit enrichment on such a Sunday.
Meanwhile, some music analysts have been heard criticizing Pr. Wilson Bugembe of tumbling his dignity by collaborating with secular artistes. However, we suggest that one should mind about the message more than the characters shouting it out.
