With Beneath the lies showing on Urban TV, many may not have noticed that Deceptions TV series was on a break. The good news is that the series will return in its 5th season next week on the leading station in the land.
The news of the return of the show was shared by management of the station who confirmed to us that the show will be on TV on Monday. “I hope the year is going well so far, I wanted to make it official. Deception’s season V premieres Monday January 12th @ 8:00pm only on NTV Uganda. Thanks for making Deceptions, the most watched local series. Please save the date,” read a statement from management.
The RTV Award winning Ugandan series, is written by Edris Matu Segawa, Musa Luswata, Julie Nantambi and Louis Muhereeza. It follows the life of Maama Nalweyiso who moves in with her son and wife, Chris and Monica, demanding for a grandchild. The happy couple is dropped in a hole of scandal!
