Renowned journalist and the CEO of the Independent magazine seems to amuse me day by day with the way he handles himself both on the journalism scene and social life.
Mwenda was one of the moderators of the future of cities forum at Munyonyo resort that attracted delegates from different cities in East Africa particularly Rwanda, Uganda and South Sudan.
He was tasked to moderate a panel on issues pertaining to traffic jam in the cities however Mwenda had everybody laughing when he humorously begged people to sing for him a birth day song before the real date as soon as he finished his business.
“Can you please sign for me a birthday song before my birthday?” Mwenda quipped.
However, some people were not amused by his humour as they took it for lack of seriousness at the event despite attracting several dignitaries from different cities.
