Besides the recently concluded Hipipo Music Awards, Zzina Awards are the other prestigious awards that are aimed at rewarding musicians in Uganda.
Ziina awards will be happening for the second time this year and according to DJ Nimrod, one of the individuals on the organizing committee, this year’s Ziina awards will be launched tomorrow at Club Amnesia as they unleash the full list of nominees.
We have also learnt that the voting process will be commencing immediately after the launch and will be done on both SMS and online platforms.
ZZina awards are organized by Galaxy FM, the number one funkiest radio station. The award ceremony is slated to take place on March, 13th at Theatre La’Bonita.
