What has been trending on social media and tabloids these days are claims that some musicians in Uganda seem to be worshiping the devil by subscribing to a secret society called Illuminati.
Many local musicians have been highlighted as part of the Illuminati including the vocal prowess Irene Ntale whom proof of membership has been brought against.
However, as soon as the news fell into the ears of the dance hall sensation Ziza Bafana who’s apparently traversing the country on his Guluma nasonmye concert, he went ahead to refute the allegations.
“When you become someone, everything starts to come up and people call you all sorts of names. These musicians have worked their way to the top and their success is not because they are in any kind of a secret society called illuminati,” said Bafana
He also asserted that nothing is will stop him from producing music despite people’s words that are aimed at bringing works of his sweat down.
“The more you open up to God, the more he opens up for you, let them say illuminati fe ngatubayitako,” he added.
