Dancehall artist Ziza Bafana has opened up about the real reason behind his strained relationship with Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi, shedding light on a social media incident that didn’t sit well with the “Fire Baby” star.

Speaking candidly, Bafana revealed that the fallout stemmed from a photo he shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, which showed Winnie Nwagi experiencing a makeup malfunction.
According to Bafana, the image was already making rounds on various social media platforms before he decided to share it on his page.
“I picked interest in the photo because it was trending,” Bafana explained. “I thought it was harmless fun, so I posted it without any ill intentions.”
However, the post didn’t go down well with Winnie Nwagi, who felt betrayed by a fellow musician publicly highlighting an unflattering moment.
Bafana recounted that he only realized the gravity of his action when he approached Nwagi with a performance request.
“When I reached out to her to request her to come and sing at my Carnival, she told me she resents me for putting her on my social media with her makeup dripping,” he said.
The incident became a lesson for Bafana, who now says he has a newfound respect for women’s appearance and the sensitivity around beauty standards.
“That’s how I learnt not to joke about women’s beauty and makeup,” he admitted.
