Singer Ziza Bafana has invested a life in his yet to be released music video – Akalulu. After breaking the news on Facebook that he will be releasing the most expensive music video in his career, we went ahead and talked to him about the highly anticipated video.
According to the singer, he spent over Ugx 70 million on the video shoot as he had to transport a team of 10 video makers from Jah Live films to South Africa.
“I spent over 70million on Akalulu Video and I shot it in South Africa. I had to transport Jah Live team of 10 men and it cost me over 20 million to buy a return ticket for each of them and gave Frank Jah 10 million for shooting. We had to hire a model so I paid $5000 for a model from D&A modeling agency South Africa. I spent 16 million on cars, clothes and stylists for the video and also paid the site where I shot it from 5 million and if you sum up all that, it totals up to over 70 million,” he told us.
“Since Jah Live studios couldn’t travel with all their equipment to South Africa, we had to hire some from God Father Studios and it cost us 10 million,” he added.
