Ivan Ssemwanga’s ex-wife and mother of his three kids, Zari Hassan has vowed to take care of the children.

She made the remarks during Ssemwanga’s requiem mass held at Namirembe Cathedral on Monday where she further noted that she is a strong lady.

“My mother raised me single-handedly and taught me to be strong. I will do the right thing for him and the boys.” She said.

Ivan Ssemwanga passed away in South Africa  on Thursday last week after several days in a coma following a stroke. He will be laid to rest on Tuesday at his ancestral home in Kayunga.

Zari is now married to Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
