Socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan has opened up about her relationship with husband Shakib Lutaaya, describing it as deeply intimate yet admitting she would have no trouble moving on if things ever came to an end.

The couple, who officially tied the knot in 2024 during a ceremony in South Africa, maintain a long-distance relationship—Zari residing in South Africa while Shakib remains based in Uganda.

Despite the physical distance, Zari says they’ve built a strong connection that continues to thrive.

“I don’t know what to say but Mr. Lutaaya isn’t going anywhere. He has me in a chokehold,” Zari expressed, using the popular phrase to show how emotionally committed she is to her man.

But in true Zari fashion, the confident mother-of-five made it clear she wouldn’t be stranded should the relationship ever end.

When asked whether she could truly move on if they broke up, Zari playfully and proudly responded, “Me? Hassan Kirigwajjo’s daughter? Me who looks like milk? It’s impossible.”

For now, Zari and Shakib seem to be riding the waves of love, proving that distance means little when hearts are aligned, and confidence never goes out of style.
