Musicians Zanie Brown and Ziza Bafana have not been friends from the time they won an award for Best Ragga Dancehall Song in the HiPipo Music Awards in January this year.

We have been told that Zanie who claims that she owns the song and was supposed to pick the award was not around when her song was announced as the winning song in the category. Because she had collaborated with Ziza on the song, Ziza was quick to pick the award and then hide it from her.

Speaking to fans, Zanie revealed that she was very hurt when she was denied an opportunity to look at an award that she worked so hard to win.

“I can’t say if I have the award or not, but what you should know is that the award belonged to me because I owned the song and only did a collabo with Ziza. The problem is that I travel a lot and I was out of the country when the award was handed over,” she said.

Beef between the two artistes has been brewing since with even enmity coming in.

We will keep you posted.
