Legendary singer and actress Susan Basemera also known as Zani Lady C who is also based in the US recently headlined the Tugende Mu Kikadde show. The show unlike the annual Tugende Mu Kikadde show in Uganda was this time held in the US, California where many guests were in attendance. Due to the many tickets that were sold, the promoter of the event Don Muwonge changed the venue to Venus Banquet hall where the event took place.
The show had Zani Lady C getting the corporate clients on their feet. They joined her on stage as she did songs like Ndoowa, golo golo, Kikambwe, agaba bintu. The singer also during her preparations to the show hit the studio and did her own versions of legendary singer’s songs like Fred Masagazi, Elly Wamala, Philly Bongole Lutaaya and Samy Kasule.
Zani Lady C performed classic songs in her own version and some of these included Nga Bwenakolanga by Eli Wamala and Alululu by Fred Masagazi among others.
