Struggling musician, Yung Mulo, formerly of Leone Island has denied stealing a phone from DJ Fikie from Laftaz Bar.
The ‘Tebakusobola’ singer who was taken to Police for allegedly stealing a phone from a partier said that he didn’t steal any phone and it was a case of mistaken identity.
This comes after Mulo was on Monday night arrested like a chicken thief at Lafatz Bar and taken Police station. It all happened, when he showed up with an entourage, of over ten street looking guys, to perform at the ever popular Monday night video premieres. Within seconds, a top DJ (Name withheld), was complaining about his wallet and phone missing. He stopped playing music and there was a tense moment, when Mulo’s crew wanted to start a fight.
According to Mulo, he is the one who took DJ Fikie to police at a small post just outside Centenary park, to clear his name. Apparently, one of the people who were partying with the DJ stole the phone and it wasn’t Mulo or his crew. He later decided to forgive Fikie and the case was closed.
