Over the weekend, Bruno K cried foul of Cedric Singleton threatening to end his life over his musical works.

In a live Facebook video, Bruno K revealed how Cedric vowed to frustrate his musical career after falling out with him.

Apparently, the verbal war is still vibrant as Cedric goes on to land a Copyright claim on Bruno K’s latest song “Nipe Love” featuring Nina Roz on YouTube.

YouTube has since cracked down the song prompting Bruno to intensify seeking refuge from the concerned.

According to Bruno, the song was recorded back then in 2018 even before he started working with Cedric’s music label.

Bruno further stresses that he personally paid for the entire studio bill when recording “Nipe Love” without any external funding like Cedric’s.

Here is Bruno K’s full statement:

The gentleman CEDRIC SINGLETON ceo black market record is trying to steal what belongs to me and Ninaroz. He reported our song on YouTube and it was taken down claiming he owns it. I recorded this song in 2018 before I even started working with his label. I paid the studio bill to 0 shillings so I dont know what he is claiming coz he funded nothing. We hustle to finance our music projects only to be robbed by people like Cedric.

Bruno K officially signed under Black Market Records in 2020.

Unfortunately, a few months later, his working relationship with the label dimmed after Black Market failing to comply with some of the terms in the contract.

However, this is not the first time the American-based record label has been involved in wrangles with Ugandan artists over music works as singers like; Ug Boyz, Ykee Benda, Kvan, among others have in the past suffered victim.

This comes in a few days after Nina Roz also quitting the music label.
