South African rapper AKA was in Lagos for a couple of days as he attended different events like the One Mic Naija and also made a few radio stops promoting his album.
While the 27-year-old rapper had quite an exciting experience in Nigeria, his South African fans are not too pleased with him after he let out his frustration about the media, feeling unappreciated via his Twitter account.
“It will never be enough … I’m representing my country in Africa and to the world and what do I get? Disrespect, backlash and negativity,” he tweeted.
“I feel more respected and welcomed in Nigeria than I do in South Africa. And that’s the sad truth,” he added.
