Ugandan music sensation Felista Di Superstar has been left puzzled after her much-anticipated concert, Felista Fest, slated for April 1st at Wankulukuku stadium, was abruptly called off.
The reason? The disappearance of the event’s promoter, who allegedly vanished with close to Shs 50,000,000 earmarked for organizing the show.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Felista expressed her anguish, revealing that she had learned a bitter lesson about the harsh realities of the Uganda music industry. “The Uganda music industry isn’t a piece of cake to eat,” she lamented.
Felista went on to disclose that her loyal supporters had rallied behind her in anticipation of the concert, only for their hopes to be dashed by the unscrupulous actions of the promoter.
Describing the individual as “greedy,” she vowed to expose their identity by sharing their photos, warning others in the industry to beware and not fall victim to similar schemes.
Despite the setback, Felista remains resolute in her determination to persevere and succeed in the cutthroat world of music.
“Survival is for the fittest,” she asserted, emphasizing her unwavering commitment to forging ahead despite the obstacles that stand in her path.
