The Young Achievers Awards Are Back

The  Young Achievers Awards are back, and nominations are on.

The Young Achievers Awards since its inaugural event is an initiative that has sought to recognize and celebrate outstanding youth in the Ugandan Community that have excelled in various realms like Arts, Entrepreneurship, Media and Journalism, Philanthropy, Innovation, Sports among others.

Talking to the organisers, this year’s edition seeks to nurture a spirit of enterprise and leadership among the youth and consequently innovation, job creation and high-value businesses will be realized among them.

“We encourage each one of the young people who are doing something for themselves in line with what we are looking for to nominate themselves and earn recognition,” the organisers noted.

The nominations will close on 31st May and the award Ceremony will be held on 12th August 2017.
