If he thinks that sleeping together is cheating, but you think holding hands is cheating, then there’s a problem. He might be hanging out with his female friends, letting them touch him and sit on his lap, thinking that you don’t mind. That’s why you should ask each other what constitutes as cheating. Then you won’t end up breaking up over a miscommunication.
2. WHERE YOU’LL SPEND THE HOLIDAYS
If you want him to visit your family for Thanksgiving, but he wants to spend the entire day with his family, then there are bound to be fights. If you’re serious about him, one day his family will become your family. That means that you two need to decide where you’ll spend each holiday. Create a schedule that you can both agree on.
3. HOW YOU’LL BUDGET YOUR MONEY
Financial issues are one of the biggest causes of divorce. That’s why you should ask your man how much he intends to spend every month. If he wastes all of his money as soon as he gets it, but you want him to put half of the money into the bank, you’re going to butt heads.
4. IF YOU’LL HAVE CHILDREN
If he’s the man you’re going to spend the rest of your life with, you should agree on children. Do you both want them? If so, how many do you want? What religion are you going to teach them about? What type of school are you going to enroll them in? These are all important questions.
5. IF YOU’LL GET MARRIED
You don’t have to get married in order to spend the rest of your lives together. That’s why you should ask him if he wants to get married or not. If he does, then ask him if he wants a big or small wedding, and if he wants to go on an expensive honeymoon or a cheap one. You need to agree on these things.
6. WHERE YOU’LL LIVE
If you want to live in the city, but he prefers the countryside, you’ll have to come to a compromise. Long distance might work for a while, but it won’t work in the long run. You need to agree on where to live, so that you can start your lives together.
7. IF YOU’LL DRINK AND DO DRUGS
If you’re against alcohol, but your boyfriend drinks and smokes pot, you could have some major problems down the road. You need to see eye to eye on issues like these. If it bothers you that he drinks every night now, it’ll only get worse as the years go by.
