Sensational singer Ykee Benda is all set to thrill revelers at his album listening party.

We have learnt that the “Farmer” hitmaker has finally completed his rehearsals. The singer has been rehearsing with his band at Crystal clear Studios in Kololo.

The singer who has stolen the hearts and ears of many Ugandans has promised an amazing show that will wow his fans as he officially unveils his “Kireka Boy” album. The album boasts of 17 songs including “Muna Kampala”, “Malaika”, “Byonkola” and “Superman” among others.

The listening party, sponsored by Bell Lager, is slated for Saturday, December 2 at Fame Lounge.

The recently concluded Abryanz style and fashion awards were such a spectacle as we saw different people grace the red carpet with all kinds of styles, fashion and designs.

One of the outfits that left tongues wagging was that of singer, Spice Diana, who walked the red carpet, adorned in a non conventional kind of lime green dress, and kept the same color going for everything else on her body, including her hair.

The ‘Ndi mu love” singer has now come out to explain her choice of dress code, saying she was looking for something unique and artistic. She also goes ahead to say she has knowledge on fashion and design since she went to school to study it.

Spice Diana who took home the award for most stylish Ugandan female artist on the night, is currently promoting her upcoming concert slated for 25th January next year.

The Ice Cream and Cake festival returns this weekend. The family event which is now in its 4th edition will be held at the Uganda Museum on Saturday, 15th December.

It promises to be a fun-filled affair where revelers will indulge their palates in the sweet delights for which the festival is known for like ice cream, cakes, muffins and candy among others. To light up the day, there will be a rich line up of musicians including Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, Beenie Gunter and Levixone among others to entertain revelers.

Addressing media on Tuesday afternoon, Norman Kasule, the festival’s marketing manager revealed that this edition is dedicated to celebrating family and friends and will feature lots of giveaways such as free ice cream for all revelers. “As the year comes to the end, we thought to dedicate this edition to family and friends. We want them to come together and make special memories,” Kasule said.

“We have brought several partners on board who will be giving away lots of goodies like ice cream and milk among others.” He added.

Meanwhile, children will also be catered for in the day’s fun with a kid’s park with bouncing castles, face painting, and reading games  set up for them. Tickets cost 25k for adults and 10k for children.
