Ykee Benda apologises for missing show at Freedom City

Local musician Ykee Benda has apologised for missing a concert at Freedom City over the weekend.

The “Farmer” hitmaker was expected to grace Sheebah’s “Nkwatako” concert at Freedom City on Sunday evening, but was a no-show.

He has now tendered in his apology to fans via social media, revealing he was unable to make it due to “personal inconveniences”.

He posted: “My fans and Sheebah fans
It took me the whole day trying to to figure how best Ican appologise to u all for failing to perform at Freedom City!

I had personal inconveniences tht got in the way for my arrival.
Nobody wanted to be there like maself.
Again am so sorry to @sheebahricherthisyear and most importantly you our dear fans.
IWILL MAKE IT UP TO YOU!”
