Singers Ykee Benda and Cindy Sanyu have today been officially unveiled and sworn in as the Uganda Musicians Association President and Vice-President respectively.
The swearing and handover ceremony took place at Mestil Hotel, Kampala.
Benda replaces longtime female singer, Sophie Gombya who resigned for the position in June to fully concentrate on her political career.

UMA is extremely expectant under the new leadership and has also commended Sophie for her past remarkable services.
