Yesse Oman Rafiki Reveals He Backed Up Late Mowzey Radio on Several Songs

Renowned Ugandan singer and songwriter Yesse Oman Rafiki has revealed that he once featured as a backup artist in some of the late Mowzey Radio’s musical projects.

Speaking out in a recent interview, Yesse shared that the fallen star personally invited him to provide backup vocals on songs such as Nkwagala Nyo, Romantic Call, and others during a period when Radio was feeling exhausted with singing.

“At that time, Radio needed someone to help bring the music to life without him doing all the vocals, so he called me in,” Yesse explained.

This revelation sheds light on the deep musical connection between the two talented artists, who both played important roles in shaping Uganda’s music industry.
