Yese Oman Rafiki narrates how ‘Mbozi Za Malwa’ hit song was made

Yese Oman Rafiki is an exceptional African composer, songwriter and content creator who has made a significant impact in the music industry. 

With an impressive portfolio of over 100 songs with various artistes like Bebe Cool, Winnie Nwagi, Vivian Tendo, Radio and Weasel, Irene Ntale, Jose Chameleone among others, Yese has proven to be a creative force, consistently delivering captivating and inspiring compositions.

His talent exceeds beyond song writing, as he has also excelled in creating successful advertisements that have resonated with audiences’ country wide the most classic example being the MTN “Bosco” advert His ability to create memorable and compelling content is truly remarkable.

Yese Oman Rafiki real names Joshua Kiberu wrote songs like Kabulengane, Chips Na Ketchup, Malaika, Kano Kozze, Bwobeera Eyo, Mbozi Za Malwa and many other songs that are still hitting at the moment. 

After Sauti Sol’s performance in Kampala, Yese Oman Rafiki reached out to Bebe cool and requested to produce the song with the renowned Kenyan group to which he agreed and funded the project that was worked upon in Kenya making it a major hit banger in East Africa.

Mbozi Za Malwa is a vibrant party anthem with a catchy chorus and energetic production that celebrates the joy of a party experience.

In an interview with Sanyuka TV, he says that working with Bebe Cool is something that he doesn’t regret or take for granted and also commends the hospitality and kindness of the Sauti Sol members especially on this particular project.
